Workmanship:
Each piece of sailcloth is cut individually by hand! I decorate the bag sections individually, so each backpack has its own design and is therefore unik. The sailcloth is not cleaned prior to processing. However, heavy soiling and damage are NOT incorporated into the design. Existing seams, eyelets, batten pockets and reinforcements from the original sails are incorporated into the design. All sail numbers, trim strips or other design elements that I attach are stitched over with an eye-catching zigzag seam using sailmaker’s thread.
Care:
Spraying with a standard plastic waterproofing agent makes the canvas fibres more resistant to dirt and moisture.
The rucksack can be washed at 40 degrees on a gentle cycle, preferably inside a pillowcase.
